Paint
In my painting, I seek figuration through the brushstroke. I’m not so interested in drawing or exact representation, but rather in how color and gesture can build a form. I often work with everyday subjects, such as domestic animals or fish, because they allow me to focus on what really matters: the act of painting itself. I move away from theoretical or conceptual discourses and give more importance to the energy, texture, and rhythm of the stroke, which, for me, are what truly bring the image to life.
